The baby blessing took place at The Six Baynon Tree Temple. It was a working Buddhist Temple with a history that dates back 1500 years. It is much smaller than it used to be b/c of the city growth. The Buddhist Master did a prayer for all the families and babies. The ceremony took about 10 minutes and we knelt in front of 3 bronze Buddhas that weighted about 10 tons each. It was very cool.
Amy Update: She is feeling much better. They had to go to 3 doctors before they got the correct diagnosis and medicine. The parents and baby both look more rested!
Piper Update: She is now getting on the floor and playing with her toys. She still does not like it if I leave the room but we are making progress. She is sitting on Scott's lap and he also is holding her more.
Steve is back from Hong Kong and he had a great time! He said it was well worth the journey.
Today we did some shopping and we will have dinner with several of the families that are leaving tomorrow. Our region requires us to stay one more day so we will leave here on Thursday morning. We can't wait for everyone to meet Piper!

Safe travels!
Cooper and I were looking at your blog at 6:00 a.m. He smiled when he saw Piper and her big smile. Then he wanted to see the snake juice again! We can't wait to see the three of you and hold our new little granddaughter. Life is good. Is it Thursday yet! Wishing you a safe journey to Indiana where we will be waiting for you.
We are glad that Piper is officially ours and I can't wait to meet her.
Love the photos! Glad Piper is doing well. You all look so happy. When you get home, you'll have to post a pix of the FOUR of you!
Wasn't the baby blessing a neat experience? We had ours on Christmas Day in '06...ah, memories.
